Food from Britain announces personnel changes
Food from Britain (FFB), the body that supports UK food and drink exporters, has announced that its Development Markets Manager and its Head of Client Development have secured new posts in the food and drink industry and will be leaving the organisation shortly.
Head of Client Development, Jane Wakeling, has worked at FFB for four years, previously holding the position of Regional Food Manger. Emma Walters, Development Markets Manager, has been at FFB for more than three years. Both will be drawing on their food and drink experience gained at FFB to move to new positions in the industry.
John Adams, Food from Britain’s CEO, said: “It is further evidence of the high quality of FFB staff that Jane and Emma are in such demand. We want people to see it as a good career move to spend time working for FFB.
“We wish Jane and Emma well for the future and success in their new roles. We shall be reviewing our structure and staffing to make sure we can continue to provide the high standards that our clients have come to expect from FFB. Client Development Account Manager Richard Sainter will be taking forward Jane’s work when she leaves in early December, while we make longer-term arrangements.”
Speaking of her time at Food from Britain, Jane Wakeling said: “I feel very proud of what we have achieved together and feel sure that Food from Britain will continue to grow.”
Emma Walters commented: “After three and a half years at Food from Britain it is time for me to add some new strings to my bow. I am sad to be leaving, and I have very much enjoyed helping the Development Markets department to grow. I know that Kelly-Jane Haley and Ruth O’Connor will continue the department’s great work when I leave in the new year. I am sure it will continue to have a high profile in the future.”
