First FFB British pavilion at Biofach 2008

British organic producers will able to take advantage of the growing market for organic products as Food from Britain (FFB), the international market development organisation for British food and drink producers, makes its first appearance at Biofach, the world’s leading organic trade exhibition in Nuremberg on 21-24 February.

Food from Britain’s British pavilion, situated at Hall 1-616K, will provide a focal point for buyers seeking the innovation and quality offered by British organic manufacturers. The pavilion will host 11 of Britain’s best organic producers, including Duchy Originals Ltd, the brand founded by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and The Big Squeeze Juice Company, FFB’s Best New Exporter 2007. FFB staff will be on hand to assist exhibitors and buyers to get the most from the exhibition.

Sandra Sullivan, Head of Events and Exhibitions at Food from Britain, said that FFB’s presence at Biofach for the first time is indicative of the growing importance of the organic market to UK food and drink producers. “We are selective about where we run the British pavilion at international trade shows – we choose the ones that offer the best opportunities for British suppliers. British organic producers, with their experience and innovation, are ideally placed to take advantage of the growing international market for organic products. Biofach is a great opportunity and we’re delighted to be exhibiting at the show.”

The exhibitors at Food from Britain’s British pavilion are:

  • Alara Wholefoods Ltd
  • Big Oz Organic
  • Clearspring Ltd
  • Community Foods Ltd
  • Duchy Originals Ltd
