Food from Britain

Market insights to grow your business

A New America!

David Wilson has formally taken the reins as Managing Director of Food from Britain (FFB) North America and is already driving exciting plans to build on the excellent work undertaken by his predecessor Steve Dawson.

David joins us from Premier Foods, Marlow Foods’ Quorn brand division, where he was the General Manager of the US business, having been a Board Member of Marlow Foods for more than 11 years as the Marketing and International Brand Director. He has extensive international marketing and general management experience, acquired at Marlow Foods and United Biscuits.

“FFB has done a tremendous job in helping British food and drink companies entering the US and Canadian markets and has helped establish brand reputations over here,” said David. “As such, my primary aim will be to provide continuity of service to our clients, building on the platform established by the previous team.

“We now have an expanded group of 12 in the FFB North America office with dedicated experts covering sales, marketing and market insight. We are relaunching FFB North America with an expanded service to British exporters.  This will allow us to leverage our genuine US trade contacts and  play a greater role developing marketing programmes for our clients.

“The North American market offers a huge opportunity to British manufacturers, it’s the world’s largest economy.  With more than 330 million people, this makes it a market almost as large as the entire EU, and one that is very receptive to innovative food and drink brands.

“I’m tremendously excited to be in a position to promote British brands in North America, and I’m looking forward to building successful long-term working relationships with clients - new and existing.”
