Last chance to Feel Good at FFB’s Export Awards

With two days to go before entries close for the 2007 FFB Export Awards, the Feel Good Drinks Company, double-award winner in 2006, is polishing up its entry – and this time they’re aiming for the top.

“It’s been another fantastic year for us,” said David Wallwork, Managing Director at the Feel Good Drinks Company. “Winning two awards not only made our team feel great, it really strengthened our credibility with distributors abroad. We’ve had a hugely positive response from some big retailers in our newer markets when we tell them that we’ve been recognised as one of the most successful companies at developing our brand internationally.”

The company, which impressed the judges with its “refreshingly simple and effective” approach and ability to make a big impact in a very little time, won both the English Exporter of the Year and the Drinks Exporter of the Year Award at the 2006 FFB Export Awards.

The Feel Good Drinks Team

Reaping the rewards

Winning inspired Feel Good to restructure its sales team, appointing a sales manager purely for its international business. “We take export really seriously. Appointing a senior salesperson to focus on international opportunities enabled us to identify key markets to focus on.”

As a result of this targeted approach, the company has ‘completed the set’ of Scandinavian countries it supplies by selling into Iceland and Finland. Further excitement is on the horizon across the Atlantic, with a first order from the United States and high hopes for an imminent delivery to Canada.

Sunshine on a rainy day

David Wallwork sees all the opportunities of trading in international markets. “We’ve had another brilliant, fast growth year in the UK despite the terrible weather this summer, but having reach into international markets means you know the sun’s always shining somewhere on a Feel Good Drink – and that makes us feel very good indeed!”

Final Countdown

Stage one entries to the FFB Export Awards will be welcome until the end of the day on Friday 7 September. If you would like to enter, please contact Tracy George on tgeorge@foodfrombritain.co.uk or visit out Export Awards entry page.
