FFB Export Award ‘tremendous boost’ for Patak’s

Grocery Award winner Patak'sCould your business be among the next group of companies to benefit from the prestige of winning an Exporter of the Year award? Not only will you get the critical acclaim of your industry peers, but also potentially reap rewards when it comes to your sales and marketing.

FFB Fast Track member Patak’s Foods, which was named Grocery Exporter of the Year in the 2006 awards, is already noticing the advantages the title brings. Andrew Staal, Director of International Sales and Business Development at Patak's, said: "We have definitely benefited from being named Grocery Exporter of the Year.

"The award has certainly given us additional credibility in the eyes of potential customers, and it continues to back up our claims of success - making our lives just that little bit easier.”

The company, which was commended by the 2006 judges for its vision and commitment to export stemming from the top of the organisation, and its reinvestment of international turnover to support its brand, is brand leader in most of its key markets, such as Australia, the US and Canada. After winning the award, Andrew Staal reported, “We have incorporated the awards logo into all our new business presentations, as it's a tremendous boost to us to have the endorsement of FFB.”

This year's awards will take place in London on 19 December, in conjunction with the FFB Network Forum, one of the most popular events in the FFB calendar. Look out for more information on how to enter in future editions of FFB Bulletin and on our website (www.foodfrombritain.com).
