Organisational changes at FFB
Food from Britain has announced changes in its organisation and staffing. In order to streamline the organisation, especially in the light of expected reductions in public funding, all three current Director-level posts within FFB are being removed.
Simon Waring (the Marketing and International Management Director), Charlotte Lawson (the Business and UK Services Director) and Anne Kynaston (the Finance and Administration Director) will be leaving FFB in due course. As a result of this change, the current Managers in Food from Britain will report directly to the Chief Executive.
The contact points for individual FFB customers and potential customers will continue to be the relevant FFB teams in London.
FFB Chairman Lady (Sylvia) Jay said: “Simon, Charlotte and Anne have all played significant parts in helping FFB develop into the highly regarded organisation it is today. Faced with continuing business challenges combined with further public funding reductions, we have concluded that a small organisation like FFB should operate with as few management layers as possible. Simon, Charlotte and Anne have given FFB tremendous support and dedication over many years. On behalf of FFB’s Council, I should like to thank each of them and wish them every success in their future careers.”
