Switzerland
FFB Germany works with British food and drink companies to identify opportunities in the Swiss market. There are a number of interesting openings for British companies.
Opportunities
- Switzerland is a “food” nation, i.e. the Swiss are interested in high quality food and various cuisines. They are also price conscious but the price level is generally higher than in Germany or Austria.
- In addition, tourism sales channels and upmarket niche sales channels offer good opportunities.
- Further to the sophisticated private label business, good potential exists in the following product categories: chilled food, health and wellbeing, organic, convenience, ethnic.
